Professionalism at Its Finest
Soraya’s Decorating Service is based in Stadhampton, south Oxfordshire.
It all started when my mother Lorraine, self taught to decorate from reading books almost 30yrs ago. She went on to build a large client base in her first few years and it wasn’t long before I would join her 20yrs ago to start my training.
In 2008, after some years together we went our separate ways due to moving areas, and built our businesses individually. Soraya’s Decorating Service was born! Today we still work together on various projects as a team.
Between us we have years of knowledge and experience to be able to tackle any challenges and day to day tasks in your home, to the highest standard.
Your home is treated as if it were our own, making sure it’s kept clean and tidy before/during & end of day. We understand many people now work from home or have children & babies sleeping so we aim to keep distruption minimal.
Whilst your work is being carried out, we will become part of your family, and you’ll miss us when we’re gone! Or we can keep out of your way and you’ll hardly know we’re there. We can adapt to any situation.

Q&A
Can you advise on paint colours/brands & finishes?
Yes! But to an extent. We know how overwhelming it can be with so many colours/brands and finishes on the market now. We have the expertise to know how different paint brands perform and the finish that will be best for your project.
Although we are not interior designers, we have a vast knowledge of colour schemes and current trends to help assist your final decisions.
Do I need to purchase the paint & materials?
We supply all materials for the work to be carried out and only work with our materials to ensure a consistent, long lasting finish.

Do you charge by the hour?
Generally a priced quotation will be emailed but certain jobs will require a charge by the hour, usually snagging and small jobs.
Which areas do you cover?
South Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire mainly, but generally within 45mins of Stadhampton OX44.
Are you insured?
Yes! Soraya’s Decorating Service is fully insured. A certificate of insurance can be sent along with the quote should you require one.
Do you provide a free quote?
Yes! A time to visit will be arranged that suits you to discuss the work. After this a detailed quote will be emailed usually within a week in PDF format.
Can we go away while you work?
Yes! Feel free to come and go as you please, or leave a spare key and know that when you’re away your house will be in safe hands & secure. We’ve even been known to take the bins out, water the plants and take deliveries whilst clients are on holiday!
What is your availability?
Generally we are booking 2-3 months ahead but occasionally do have postponements or gaps to fill so it’s best to get in touch and ask first.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
The preferred method would be to make a free home visit as videos and pictures rarely can show the condition of the walls etc.
